Sky Dive for Alzheimer's

One of our carers Joanne, from RCT, recently took part in a skydive for Alzheimer’s Disease. Joanne took to the sky to raise both awareness as well as raising money for such a worthy cause which is close to many of our hearts. She jumped 12,000ft out of a plane with Skydive Swansea. When asked why she chose to participate Joanne commented, “I have seen the affects Alzheimer’s has on people and their families. I wanted to help raise money to contribute to a better quality of life to those affected by the illness. I thought giving myself a challenge like this was a great way to get involved.”

Branch manager, Nicola Watton said “I am delighted Joanne has taken this opportunity. Joanne is a wonderful inspiration to others who want to help raise money for causes that affect so many of us.”
